What type of wall is this pegboard suitable for?
Our pegboard comes with two installation options: adhesive and nails. We recommend using adhesive on smooth walls. For painted or uneven walls, we suggest using nails for installation, as adhesive may damage painted walls, and it may not adhere securely to uneven surfaces, leading to items falling off.
Can these peg boards be cut?
No, these peg boards are made of durable polypropylene plastics. It can not be cut as metal peg boards.
Are these accessories compatible with IKEA Skadis pegboard?
We recommend clients to use our accessories only on KEEPO pegboards.
Will the accessories work with standard pegboards?
No, our pegboard is specifically engineered with oval peg holes, a design distinct from the rounded configuration found in standard pegboards. Consequently, our accessories are not compatible with standard pegboards.
Can magnet stick to the board?
No, our pegboards offer two installation methods: nails and adhesive. These boards are not magnetic and cannot be used with magnets.
How do i install using the nails instead of the tape?
The product package includes an installation assistant manual, which provides clear instructions on how to install the pegboards using nails exclusively.
Is this water and mold resistant?
Yes, our pegboards feature waterproof and scratch-resistant surfaces, ensuring durability and longevity. They can be easily cleaned with damp tissues.
Is there any way to buy more of the adhesive pads?
The adhesives are integral components of the pegboards and are not available for separate purchase. In the event that the adhesives lose their adhesive properties, 3M Command Strips can be utilized to affix the installation frames onto the wall.
I'm in the process of moving but not sure how or reinstall my pegboard now that I've already used the installation. Do you sell separate parts?
The installation frames are part of the pegboards and they are not sold separately at this moment. But we recommend the following two options for this issue:
You can use 3M Command Strips on the mounting frames for re-using.
You can securely position the pegboard by affixing tapes to establish the installation frame on the wall. Subsequently, you may affix the nails (included within the package alongside the pegboard, or you may utilize your own nails) by screwing them into the wall, after which the tapes can be removed. The pegboard is optimally secured when nails are employed for installation.
